My passion for Latin America was ignited by an extensive trip to Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Peru in 2001. The highlights of my travels included a six day trek through the Torres del Paine National Park and an incredible jeep safari across the Salar de Uyuni. Having been ‘bitten’ by the Latin America travel bug, I went on to fish for piranha in the Brazilian Amazon, watch calving Southern Right whales in Florianopolis, and rode alongside gauchos at a working estancia in Argentina. For Latin America the possibilities of adventure are endless and the temptation to visit new places irresistible.
