Loisaba Lodge

Loisaba Pool & Views Loisaba Starbeds

Loisaba Lodge was originally built as the Kenya home of Count Ancilotto. Perched high on the edge of the Laikipia plateau, the vast splendor of the views defy description. A thousand feet below, a water hole draws families of elephant, greater Kudu, Oryx and Giraffe while at night, only the calls of Lion, Leopard and Hyena break the silence of the stars.

Loisaba Lodge itself has been extensively refurbished to provide exclusive accommodation for up to twelve guests in six rooms each seemingly suspended off the edge of the escarpment. Decorated in subtle, ethnic moods, each room has its own en-suite bathroom and a large private deck or veranda. The main facilities at the camp include a large communal dining area where meals can be served, alternatively there is the option to dine out in the bush, on the banks of the river or high up on the cliffs in face of the evening breezes and the setting of the sun.

Activities from Loisaba Lodge include game drives, mountain bike riding, helicopter rides, heli-camping, camel treks, horseback riding, river rafting and also the amazing trek with camels to spend a night under the African Skies in the newly designed Loisaba Star Beds - the only ones of their kind in Kenya!
